Louann's Café, nestled at 319 Charlotte St in Sydney, NS, is a delightful local gem that captures the essence of home-cooked comfort food. Patrons rave about the cozy atmosphere, where every meal is crafted with care and creativity. Support local mom and pop shops! Quiet & cozy little place to have a wholesome breakfast. Everything we ordered was made to order. Hot, fresh, and hearty breakfasts! YUM Great food and service was fantastic. Also, homemade pies and cookies? Why, yes!

This was a charming cafe with friendly staff and good food. I regret not being able to eat here more. Do visit Louanne's if you find yourself on Cape Breton if you have the chance

At first I thought it was a little pricey for a sandwich, then I laws this glorious thing and was drooling. It’s delicious and the portions are huge especially compared to the chains around here. It was a little greasy but so delicious I don’t even care. The staff was super sweet and great to speak with! Will 100% be back again

We went here for breakfast because other places in the area were full. However, we had an an amazing meal and are glad we couldn't go anywhere else. The roasted veggie and chicken fajita wraps were flavorful and satisfying. The hot chocolate was like a warm hug on the cold rainy morning with the right amount of sweetness. The meal was a perfect start to our day. My four year old enjoyed the warm quesadillas with the lip smacking salsa. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fulfilling meal with unique options.

Delightful little cafe with delicious salads, sandwiches, and soups! The service was warm and we felt like the most important people in the room! Would recommend for a light meal at any time.

Walking into Louann's was like walking into an old friend's home for a coffee. Super friendly staff and locals chit chatting. Fluffy scrambled eggs with real cheese on my breakfast bagel, my son's French toast smelled amazing, he ate it so quickly I couldn't steal a bite.

Nice, cozy place run by mother and daughter, I guess. As a cosmopolita, well traveled man, it is hard to find a variety of restaurants. There are not many options in this small town, but that place will be more than enough for breakfast. I was there when the daughter of an Indian or Paki family was feeling bad and she dismayed, they rapidly called the ambulance. It seems the daughter is quiet towny. She smiles to locals or people she knows but quiet reserved to foreigners. I visited from Cancun..
